Founded in 1918, Otis College of Art and Design has evolved as a trend-setting leader in art and design education.
Otis College of Art and Design is located on the west side of Los Angeles on a 5-acre campus in the heart of southern California's technical film, digital imaging, and toy design industries. The nearby communities of Venice and Santa Monica are home to many of Los Angeles' most important fine art studios and galleries. Otis is an "artist's art school" where the spaces resemble artists lofts with high ceilings, open spaces, and exposed structural supports. The main campus is a multi-dimensional learning center where art and technology interact in an accessible and creative environment.
The Otis faculty comprises practicing artists and designers who have chosen to enrich their professional experience by sharing their expertise with new generations of artists and designers. |

| UNIQUE/SPECIAL PROGRAMS |

Otis College of Art and Design offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Media Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts (Sculpture/New Genres, Photography, Painting) Communication Arts (Graphic Design, Illustration) Environmental Design and Toy Design. Within the Fine Arts program, you can choose a concentration in Drawing (which includes printmaking) or New Media (which includes Digital Imaging, or experimental video & film).
Otis offer programs leading to the Master of Fine Arts degree in Fine Arts and also in Writing. |
